Chapter 60: The Main Figure

In a residence, a man stepped in with a fiery rage within him. The whole plan that has been prepared for many years is now chaotic only overnight. The outcome of the trial changed without him expecting, as did the evidence that now turned against his minions.

"Damn it! Who would dare interfere in my affairs?" the man wrath while releasing the tie on the neck violently because he felt his breath get stuck instantly.

"Let me investigate, sir," said a woman who followed in her footsteps behind.

"Su Man To was completely beyond my expectations. We could have let our guard down like this." Furious he opened the door of the study using his feet. "Su Man To, damn it, huh! It's in vain everything I've done all this time" she cried wrathfully. 

He blindly ruffled his desk, but a moment after that the man fell silent because he felt something was off at the moment. He raised his hand, hinting for the woman behind him to come out and immediately closed the door. 

Without wasting time the woman chose to obey, while the man grabbed a gun from the back of his body. He moved slowly, then stepped carefully towards his seat of greatness which was now behind him. However, how surprised the man was when turning the chair turned out to be a girl clapping her hands looking at him. 

"No–nona." Ahn Jay is speechless. His breath seemed to be choked to see the girl who bravely entered the opponent's cage without excuse. 

Unfortunately, the sound of Je's clapping complete with a sharp highlight on the assistant father has not subsided since. "You're really great, Mr. Ahn. It could have even fooled my father all along. It was beyond my father's expectations. He certainly wouldn't have thought that you were the main character in all of this."

Both were silent for a moment. A moment later Ahn Jay laughed sarcastically. "It's also free to cover it at this time. You already know who I really am. If only your father was not greedy and controlled the company alone. I definitely wouldn't bother him like this." Ahn Jay pulled the gun slide cover with his hand and pointed it at Je instantly. 

Unfortunately, the girl was just unmoved, even still able to sneer mockingly at him. "Do you want to kill me outright now? You're just an ungrateful loser. It's obvious my father was kind enough to take you off the streets. But you've betrayed and eroded more just to fulfill your endless ambition."

"You're just a kid yesterday afternoon who didn't know himself. What right do you have to nag me, huh? I've been kind by letting you live in stupidity. But, you messed up my plan and still dare to come here!" 

Instead of being afraid, Je laughed loudly for a long time in response to Ahn Jay's words. "My stomach hurts. Let me laugh for a moment! Are you dreaming of a vagabond being a king? You should enjoy your life well, don't expect what isn't yours. The happiness of life will come to you. But you're the one who's looking for trouble by screwing up my family." 

This provoked anger in Ahn Jay. He immediately drew closer to the girl and firmly gripped the two tiny cheeks using his big hand. "You think I'm messing with you?"

Je was speechless looking at the man in front of him sharply. "You're not the one messing around. But I'm the one playing with you" he said again grinning.

"Be quiet on the spot! We have surrounded this place" said one of the lead detectives of the ambush followed Rey behind him.

"You guys back off! Or my bullet will be lodged in his head this very second!" threatening Ahn Jay tries to make Je his shield and slowly strangles the girl's neck using one of her arms.

"You're just a loser," Je sneered as if dissatisfied to ignite Ahn Jay's anger earlier.

"Shut up! You should be aware of your current position. Do you think I wouldn't take your life right now?" Both Ahn Jay's eyeballs almost jumped out of place. He himself had never imagined that he would be in such a situation. Though previously he had played very neatly, but could even be trapped in the game of a snot boy that he never calculated.

Don't want to stay in the situation for long. Je immediately took over. He grabbed the back of Ahn Jay's body behind him and slammed the man forward without warning, easily taking over the man's gun and shooting directly at one of his legs. "You talk too much, Uncle," he said after a split second of easily turning things around.

All the detectives who were there could only be dumbfounded staring at Je's stunning action for them. It was usually done by the seniors, but this was the victim himself who crippled the criminal.

"Why are you guys quiet? Quickly catch him!" je said to wake them all up from the daydream, while Rey approached the girl immediately.

"You okay?" ask Rey.

Je just nodded in response, a second later came Liam with his face. "Hey! Get rid of your filthy hands from my beloved!"

Both were stunned, with his arrival. However, it seems that Liam's anger isn't enough there yet so Je can only grin the horse.

"What smile? Didn't I tell you if I wanted to do something call me first? Why act alone? What if something happens to you?" review Liam with many questions.

"This is what I don't like about you, Uncle. You're chattering too much to prevent me from doing this. It sucks!" Not wanting to get more dizzy, Je stepped away leaving the two men in the room, while Ahn Jay had secured the authorities with the condition of the injured leg drenched in blood.
