Chapter 58: Coma of a Year

"Sir Rey!" So excited, Je unconsciously greeted the man first and immediately got a sharp gaze from Liam beside him.

"You know him?" liam asked surprised to see Je's enthusiasm. 

Realizing his mistake Je can only rack his brain how to make Liam unsuspecting. Anyway Rey can't recognize him at this time, if she's not the Jessi who used to be with Jenni's face. "Emth, who doesn't know Rey Gerald? Great lawyers at a young age with good looks that captivate many fans at every trial." 

Je said, Rey laughed proudly, while Liam stared intently at his best friend. He put the bowl back on the nightstand hard enough to surprise Je and Rey. Jealous flames billowed clearly from the crown like a forest that had just been burned. 

"I didn't know she was that famous until you even knew her" Liam said, blushing his lips. There was no gentleness in his tone. Jealousy blinds him and forgets the ultimate goal of bringing Rey home. 

"Already, already. Don't be jealous of me! I'm not as damaging to people's relationships as you might imagine. So throw away your dirty thoughts. By the way why did you ask me to come here?" rey approached both. 

"Yes, you are still a lover of widows like before" muttered Je Lirih getting a sharp look from the two men. 

"What's? Why do you know Rey's taste?" liam asked a little. 

"Emth, can't it be read from his face, Uncle. Rey's sister is a normal man who certainly prefers experienced adult women. Unlike you who even ensnare a sweet girl like me," replied Je ketus. 

Liam just squinted at Je's reasoning. It is not the words of the lover that make him think more. However, a 'sister' call easily came out of Je's mouth. The two have just met at this time.

Rey simply nodded as she read through each sheet after sheet of files Liam gave her carefully. “Who gets all this evidence. It must not be easy to find evidence in a storage place like this without the enemy knowing.”

“Je found it. So his life almost floated yesterday,” Liam replied casually while looking at the lover who only turned his lips to hear Liam's words. 

“Why? Don't tell me you fell in love at first sight for seeing my lover!” accuse Liam of being cynical.

“Only when talking. It's just that his call is similar to someone I know. Unfortunately, he was still lying in a coma in his home. I don't know when she'll wake up and help me find an excuse to come out and find another widow.” Rey turned back the paper in her hand carefully.  For a moment the three fell silent in silence and in each other's minds.

Je thinks of himself in another country. “So I was in a coma there. Not dead and not a single soul occupied my body. Thank goodness, it means I just have to finish all this and go back home,” Inner Je feels happy.

“Good. I've seen all this. I'll take it first, I'll let you know again after everything's ready. Isn't the first trial also not yet held?’’ tanya Rey started putting the file in her bag.

“Not yet. But I want to play around with them first. Can you turn things around if the evidence available in the photo is scorched?” je said seeing Rey start to move from her position.

The two men then stepped out of the room. A question began to rage in Liam's mind. How Je and Rey can have the same thought. Even the girl did not ask her decision to change lawyers. 

“Rey, are you sure you never knew Je before?” liam asked curiously and stopped the steps upon arrival of the two in front of the main door. 

“If your lover's Je. I clearly don't know him. This is even our first meeting. But you're pretty good at picking a lover, she's almost like my cousin's sister. Despite his young age, he is quite intelligent in taking action. Unfortunately, my brother was in a coma for a year because of an accident. Then I'll go first.
