CHAPTER 4: Go Home

Richard, who Jessi left alone, repeatedly looked at the clock on his wrist. "Where did the girl go?" 

He waited while leaning against the wall with his hands playing the phone to play the game. However, a second later something flashed through his mind about the previous incident. "Don't he try to kill himself again!" 

The man then put the phone back in his pocket and ran with a panicked look. Richard's move was firm and quick because he did not want anything bad to happen. She steps up the stairs to the rooftop where Jenni tried to kill herself earlier because she was worried that she would return to do something stupid.

He paused with Richard's breath as he arrived at the place. However, how surprised the man when he saw Jenni was standing on the edge of the roof like preparing to commit suicide.

 "Yeah! What the hell are you doing? Are you crazy, huh?" With a worried look on his face as well as a racing heart rhythm without thinking of anything else other than saving the girl across, he immediately ran as hard as he could out of worry. Both of Richard's hands immediately curled around Jenni's legs from behind and immediately pulled her down. 

However, Jenni's fat body was unable to be held back by the man's strength. They both fell to the floor with Richard's position directly hit by the heavy burden of the girl's body. "Ok." He coughed from the pain in the chest from the hard hit of the woman on it.

It was like being hit by a bulldozer all of a sudden, to the point that Richard could only grimace in pain. "Me–nying–kir–lah! Tu–buh–mu be–rat." With great difficulty the man spoke because Jenni's body was indeed very heavy.

Jessi could only pluck her lips to look at Richard below her and move out of position while patting a dirty skirt. "Who did you come to directly attract me!" 

After Jessi got up from her position, Richard stood up while patting her chest which was like losing oxygen supply. A moment later, the man's finger landed a flick on the wide forehead of the girl in front of him as a result of being annoyed by his never-thought-out behavior.

"If I don't pull you down, you'll jump down again! You think you're a cat with nine lives! What if you die?" Richard snorted annoyedly at the behavior of the girl in front of him who now always answered his words without feeling guilty. However, it was better than before, a shy figure who could only say an apology while bowing his head. 

"Currently, you watch too many dramas. Look at! With this much lard, you think I'm gonna die just from falling down?" Jessi showed the fat folds on her stomach that were multi-layered with an irritated face. "Stupid! At most my body would only bounce a few times on that grass."

Jessi's answer successfully made the man in front of her upset to widen his eyes. "It sucks! Let's go!" Richard then pulled the girl's hand to leave the roof immediately, arguing with her would be endless if served continuously.

Only today can they talk like humans. Usually only the man speaks, but Jenni is always silent like a living statue. However, now the girl can speak more horribly than Annabelle and Chuky.

Meanwhile, Jenni who was just a small smiling soul saw the behavior of the two. He did not expect that in just an instant Jessi could make friends, in contrast to him for seventeen years alone. The girl then followed the two leaving the roof and always followed wherever her body went. 

Jessi is driven home by Richard in his car, occasionally the man stares at the astonished girl beside him who looks to have no veins of shame, while focusing on the road in front of him. He looks so different than before. Is this a side effect of amnesia? his inner.

"What look-look? Want me to plug your eyes?" Highlight the girl's eyes looked so sharp, that it made the man beside her swallow her own saliva with great difficulty. 

"Ekhem." For a moment the man cleared his throat to neutralize his feelings again, while refocusing on driving the car. "Are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital?" 

"No. Isn't it healing I could die there later?" Jessi threw her face away, staring out at the windshield. The hustle and bustle of the city makes him miss his distant residence there. Though not even one day he was in his new body, but instead began to miss the babble of the mother every home from campus.

The woman inhaled oxygen deeply to calm her soul. It still feels hard to believe he could be in a situation that is impossible to explain logically. There's just a dead end to every genius brain research. Jessi can only resign herself to Jenni's fat body.

"Are you also going to kill yourself if I take you to the hospital?"  Richard's voice instantly made Jessi aware of his daydream in the clouds.

The girl immediately stared intently at Richard while squinting, for some reason she hated the chatty man like the man beside her the most. "Are you stupid or pretending to be stupid? Obviously you know I'm poor and have no money. Imagine if you took me to a hospital, and couldn't afford his administration? You think they're gonna have me do the dishes to reimburse me for that health expense? Think dong!"

The girl chattered at length while snorting annoyed like a steam train in the head with all the reasons, thus making the atmosphere in the car that was originally quiet, became very crowded beat the radio broadcast because of it.

"Currently, amnesia makes you a bitchy girl!" Richard screeched, then averted his gaze for a moment, the little smiling man noticed Jenni's more daring change in opinion. If only this girl continued like that when she was bullied, maybe she didn't have to worry so much that she had to become a guard doctor at the school just to keep an eye on her.

"This is my home?" After seeing the condition of the house from the car. He asked Richard first, glancing at Jenni in the back seat. The girl just nodded so did the man beside her. 

"Yes, I'll go home first. Thanks for the ride." Without waiting for the answer of the man beside her, Jessi immediately got off and stepped out of the vehicle to enter the residence, followed by Jenni beside her. 

Richard could only be speechless looking at the girl's mannerisms with a faint smile on his sweet face. "Based on the girl." He then turned on the car to move home, after seeing Jenni had entered the house because the task was finished when he saw it safe.

Meanwhile, Jessi was circulating her gaze in all directions to observe the situation in that place. "This is your house? Why so quiet." 

"Yes, is your real house bigger than this? I heard you say your residence is more luxurious?" jenni. 

"You can hear my mind?" Jessi stopped her steps for a moment, shocked to hear Jenni's statement. He wanted to make sure that his ears didn't hear wrong with it.

However, Jenni just nodded.

Did ya? mind Jessi again.

Jenni nodded again, then explained what she had experienced in the car earlier . "I can hear your inner voice, but not with anyone else."

"Good, at least I wouldn't be mistaken for a lunatic for talking alone." Jessi who understood with the intention of Jenni chose to step back into the residence. 

Jessi's steps look so relaxed because they do not know what is waiting for her arrival, in contrast to Jenni who has begun to shake. If only she was in his body, it was certain that the girl was deathly pale from fear.

"What are you waiting for?" Jessi stopped her steps to turn Jenni behind.

"Ti–no." 

"Are you afraid to go into your own house?" The girl nodded, making Jessi sigh violently. 

"Are you stupid? What are you supposed to be afraid of? You are now only a soul without a body, no one sees you but me. So, stop scaring yourself and let's go in!" Jessi clasped Jenni's hand for the first time as she stepped open the main door of the house. "They should be the ones who are afraid of you because now you are the devil." 

Jenni can only follow Jessi's quick steps. Yes they could touch each other, but not for his soul to return into the body. No one knew the cause, so the two could only follow the fateful path first. 

Just as Jessi's hand opened the door, the sound of someone shouting from inside the house had already shocked them. 

"Good at this hour just got home! Where have you been?" The screaming voice of a woman in the back instantly made Jessi tiptoe in shock to hear it.
