The Queen Of Casino

The Queen Of Casino
CHAPTER 2: The Exchanging Soul

Rainwater spots have subsided, replaced with sunlight that warms again. A girl was lying on the bed of the school health room. There was only a guard doctor accompanying him while sitting on a chair to watch. Somehow they lifted the fat body here which is clear now he is in the room.

Slowly the girl's eyelids began to open, her head felt dizzy recalling what she was going through. "Eugh." A small whimper came out of his mouth with both hands twitching his temple.

All parts of the girl's body seemed to crumble dimly, awareness had not been fully collected and there were still the rest of lives that floated out of nowhere, until a while later, her eyelids began to open. He tried to get up from his sleep, then held his head that felt very dizzy.

"Where am I?" When her consciousness had returned, the girl circulated her gaze while frowning, looking at the foreign room she had just seen for the first time. Not a house, not a campus, not a hospital, confusion immediately made him several times back to blink his eyes.

"You awake?" The baritone voice of a young male doctor made the girl instantly stare at him. He approached while putting his hand into his proud white coat pocket to pick up the stethoscope. "Let me check for a minute!"

"Who are you?" The girl immediately shook the hand of the doctor who wanted to examine her. The type of face of the man is very foreign to him and more similar to his uncle—Mario. But how is there such a man in his country?

"Where is this?" He asked again because he was very confused about what happened, to make the doctor join the confusion to see his attitude and frown for a long time.

Maybe he's amnesia? the inner doctor.

"Did you forget? You tried to kill yourself by jumping off the roof of this school building. Lucky you landed on a tall hedge. So, your body is just blisters and not dead," he explained without further ado as he looked back at the expression of the girl in front of him.

However, the girl really looks very confused by the statement of the doctor in front of her. Why would he kill himself if his life alone was very comfortable and peaceful. "Are you crazy? How can you call me a suicide? It was very clear at the time that I was hit ...."

He stopped his sentence when he realized the words used to speak were not his daily language. Although, mastering some foreign languages, but that does not mean he can use it in any place because it is usually only used when on vacation to neighboring countries.

Wait, whoa. He looked back at the surroundings with a strange look. All the writings listed in the health room were written with hangeul script from the Korean State. How can I be here?

The girl's gaze then turned to stare at her own body parts, the elephant's feet and the hands of a large palm made her widen her eyes. "Do you have a mirror?"

"Mirror? Wh-wh-what for? You're ugly, you don't have to look in the mirror." The doctor scoffed, but still stepped in to pick up the object the student wanted in his desk drawer. "Well." Yeah."

The girl received the mirror from the doctor, then saw her own face in her reflection. She held her hair tangled after the rain, her cheeks as stale as a pig, and another, the stone pimples on her forehead and cheeks that if held felt once her authenticity. Seeing that, Jessi immediately widened her eyes.

So shocked by what he saw, the woman immediately threw the mirror in her hand in any direction, until a sound shattered into pieces and scattered on the floor. "Who is he? His face is awful." The girl's body trembled, Jessi's hands began to cool because of it. His genius brain seemed unable to digest the condition he was experiencing now.

"Yeah! Why did you throw it away? Are you afraid to see your own face?" shouted the doctor who could only shake his head, while stepping to clean the broken glass on the floor. "Maybe that's why you're trying to kill yourself too."

Yes, during his work at the school, the doctor knew exactly how the girl was. He never had any friends and was always bullied to make him keep an eye on the woman's movements every time.

The girl looked very confused because in reality, she was not the fat Jenni, but Jessi. The accident made the woman's soul occupy another body without knowing how such a thing could happen.

"I tried to kill myself?" She then took a look at her own body, Jennifer Kim's name stuck to the white uniform worn. If I'm in Jennifer To's body, what does it mean that I'm dead?

"Do you know this girl?" Jessi asked the doctor while pointing at herself as if she was not the one there.

The doctor sighed for a moment before answering, then threw the broken glass into the trash first. "Did you really forget the memory?"

Jessi thought for a moment about the doctor's words. There's no way I'm admitting I'm not Jennifer. Maybe, that guy will think I'm crazy.

"Ish, what are you doing?" Jessi again patted the hand of the doctor who moved her head carelessly, and instead made her feel dizzy.

"Of course check on you. Looks like you're gonna have to be taken to the hospital." The doctor was about to step away, but his hand was held back by the girl.

"Wait, wait. I don't think it needs to be that extreme. Just tell me! Whatever you know about me."Jessi gave a small nod, hoping that the doctor would understand her point. He hated hospitals so much, the smell of medicine was so strong there. It is also impossible to explain the true events to the medical authorities about the real him. It could be that instead of being given drugs instead rushed to a mental hospital.

"really?" For a moment the doctor scanned the body of the girl in front of him with a look. There were no signs of serious injuries other than abrasions, but why could the girl forget memories. Maybe he just forgot for a while, he thought.

"All right, I'll tell you. Your name is Jennifer Sumanto, you're usually called Jenni. Every day you come here to ask for a sedative, but I don't give it."

"Is that all you know?" The girl scrunched her forehead, hearing the piece of information obtained. Why is it just a hunk of upil that is not important to hear. Even her mother's babble is longer than a girl's data.

"What do you think a caretaker like me can know?"

Jessi nodded small. "You're too stupid to know anything. Not like my father."

"Yeah! Why does amnesia make you such a shitty girl?" The doctor's hand almost sent a joking blow out of annoyance with him who now dared to answer. However, seeing a different look in the eyes of the girl in front of him made the man undo his intentions. "Ekhem, it looks like you're cured. You better get home and rest."

"Going home? Where's my house?"

"Oh, God. Are you really forgetting or pretending to forget?" The man looks quite upset to face Jessi, the girl is very different from the shy Jenni.

"I completely forgot. Why don't you just take me along."

"Shy, sucks." The man took off his white coat, then picked up the bag on the chair. "Hurry up and get your bag! Follow me!"

The girl looked to the side and saw a bag belonging to this body. He grabbed her and got off the bed following the man's footsteps. "By the way, what's your name?"

The man squinted his eyes at the girl beside him. Did he really forget his memories?

"Why look at me like that? Want me to gouge your eyes out?" Jessi threatened by pointing both fingers at the man's face. The ferocity as if suddenly overdose makes the man quite surprised to see the change in one day.

The man breathed for a moment. "You can call me Richard."

They walked back to the parking area. However, when he arrived in front of a class, Jessi who had high sensitivity felt that someone was peering at him from behind. The girl turned her head repeatedly, but there was no one there.

"Have followed me enough!" Jessi's annoyed screams made the man beside her frown in confusion. "You wait here for a minute! I'll catch up with him first."

Jessi turned around and stepped away looking for the figure that followed her earlier with a feeling of annoyance and curiosity.

Meanwhile, Richard was confused by the girl's behavior of only being able to scratch her own head. "Looks like he's crazy."
