"Well, did you come here? Not that in front of Om Rendra you asked to be taken to the salon, huh?" Dante asked confusedly because Lara asked him to stop suddenly in front of a rice stall on the side of the road. Not because the place still feels foreign to him, but vice versa. This place is a regular rames rice stall with Alisha.
"Suddenly I'm hungry. No pa-pa, right if we stop by for a little meal here? The rice rames here are delicious, loh," Lara said as she removed her seatbelt.
"Gue knows that the rames rice here is delicious!" dante confirmed. "But, I doubt that you really-purely just want to eat here. I'm sure there's no other meaning!"
"What the hell, Dante! I'm actually a laper!" Lara casts her eyes out to avoid a full-fledged glance from the iris, Dante said. That's how a woman to fool her man, namely by putting on a pouting face and pretending to be angry. Makes Dante snort while peeing.
"Okay, fine! We're eating here!" Despite seeming dislike of Lara's proposal, Dante ends up following the girl's wishes as well. He gets off the car and walks into the stall before Lara moves out of position. Of course, he also did not realize the triumphant smile that was on Lara's lips.
"Nasi rames two yes, ma'am." Dante booked on a middle-aged woman who was busy cleaning the table. The woman with a wide headscarf initially assented politely as in a newly known customer. However, when the consumer's face was familiar to him, the woman named Lastri looked at Dante with eyes squinting as if she was confirming what she saw.
"Dante? Is this really Dante?" tanyanya could not believe it.
"Hehe, yes Bu Lastri," replied Dante with a grin.
"Oh my goodness, Dante! Over a week you've been missing, uh back and forth it's been cool like this!" Lastri reflexively approached and beat up Dante's arm in a fit of rage. "Where have you been, how have you not been seen lately? Alisha went everywhere alone. Cassian she is, Dante."
Dante's smile turned bitter to hear Alisha's name mentioned. However, he has not had time to answer Lastri's question, suddenly Lara appears and mediates their conversation with words that Dante does not like.
"Darling, don't want to know me as the seller of rames rice?"
Dante and Lastri compactly turned towards Lara, then immediately looked at each other with different expressions.
"introduce. I'm Lara, Dante's future fiance." With great confidence Lara extended her smooth hand towards Lastri. Making the middle-aged woman's eyes buy before glancing at Dante who was throwing a glance.
Although somewhat doubtful, finally Lastri welcomed a soft hand as silk as he wore a smile as gracious as possible.
"Dante's fiancee's candidate, huh? Very beautiful," said Lastri to Lara, although the girl she praised hurriedly pulled her hand and rubbed her telepap on a handkerchief taken from her expensive bag.
"From now on don't call my potential fiancee by a name like that. Not match. My future fiancee is the son of a respected businessman. Dia–"
Looking at the angry expression on Dante's face, Lara just put her lips together and shrugged her shoulders. He was nonchalant while sitting on an empty seat across from Dante. He did not care about the piercing look of the young man. Lara even cuek and chose to busy herself with her cellphone to berselfi.
Not wanting to participate in the tension of the two lovebirds of the stall visitors, Lastri chose to focus on the best service.
"Wait for ya, Boss Dante. Your food is ready soon."
Again, Dante unsheathed his sharp gaze towards Lara. The girl managed to make Lastri's view of him change instantly. Honestly, he does not like to be hailed with frills of property and the throne. He prefers to hang out with people who are who they are. It's been hard he built that image, Lara even seemed to damage all.
No discussion or debate that occurred for a few minutes passed, until Lastri came and brought two servings of rames rice with a special side dish.
"Monggo, please Boss Dante." Lastri presents after lowering the rice plate from the tray.
Dante snorts softly. "Not call it that time, ma'am. It's not good to hear."
"But this is a request ...." Unwilling to continue with those words, Lastri preferred to point at Lara using her thumb as politely as sign language.
"Don't beat him up" Dante said.
"Owh, okay-okay." Lastri raised her thumb, while Lara was grieving.
The two enjoyed the meal quietly without much talk. If Dante looks greedy when eating rames rice, in contrast to Lara who looks agitated stirring rice while occasionally dizzy staring at the entrance.
Dante, who knows Lara's body language, is silent without wanting to know the cause. Maybe the story will be different if the one who is sitting down to eat with him at this time is Alisha.
Dante remembered the girl. Is this the impact of Alisha on her life? I don't know. For Dante Alisha is a perfect figure for him. Dante never looked at the girl's shortcomings, not even her past sins. Unfortunately, the humiliation was very heartbreaking. Until Dante can't forget that.
Something beyond Dante's expectations happened. Dante who screeched at the contents of his plate felt the presence of someone but was lazy to notice it. However, when a beautiful voice echoed in his ears, he stopped eating and stared at the newly arrived girl.
"Mom, the roll cake has arrived! I put it in a normal place, yeah!" said the long-haired girl without looking around.
