The Price of Sainthood

The Price of Sainthood
Lara's Allegations

Opening her eyes slowly, Lara was surprised to find herself lying in a gurney. It's not wrong, he must be in the hospital. The white room and the back of the hand that was stuck with the infusion needle as evidence.

How could it happen? Did he faint?

Snorting softly, he was about to get up from his bed. Lara doesn't like this place. Unfortunately, the throbbing head of pain blocked his movement this time. Grimacing, he undoes the intention and massages his temple plan.

"North. You're all human, son?" Someone walked over and stood by the side of the bed. Holding his hand with care and attention.

Papa's?

Lara knitted her eyebrows together as she looked at Narendra who was smiling gently at her. Apparently the guy is here. Lara could have thought she was alone. The girl was unaware of the whereabouts of the father who was apparently sitting on a long sofa.

"Delivery." Speaking loudly, Lara brushed off Narendra's hand that was about to touch his forehead. That pale face still left behind a trace of anger. Instantly the bitterness he felt last night back up to make his chest tight.

"North. What do you want to do?" Instead of helping, Narendra stares confusedly at his daughter who is desperately trying to get up.

"home. I'm not a sick girl. What am I supposed to take care of here!" Lara pulled up the blanket and got up and lowered her legs. Sitting on the edge of the bed his hand was about to pull out the infusion hose, but Narendra quickly held it in.

"Don't be rash, son. You're still not well."

"What do you care?" Lara asked while throwing a cynical look. Narendra. A moment later, however, he said with regret.

"I am your father. Of course Papa cares. Please, just understand Papa's position once, son."

The heartache Lara felt was so deep. He thought Narendra had found Alisha a long time ago and deliberately poured out unequal affection. Clearly he felt Narendra was unfair to treat them.

"It's not what you think, son," Narendra said weakly withstanding regret. "Everything is out of Papa's control, Lara. Your mama knew before marrying her Papa had married another woman. Since then we have never met. Whether you believe it or not, but in fact Papa just found them yesterday the day after."

"Lying," Lara denied without looking face to face. He purposely hid his tear-filled wounds.

"Alisha has suffered her entire life. He lives in poverty. In contrast to those of you who live in luxury. Please, let Papa make amends for this mistake to them, son."

"What!"

The shriek was not Lara's voice, but came from outside. The figure of Helena who always looks graceful now put on an angry face when entering the treatment room of her only daughter.

"Redeemed mistakes? What do you want to do?"

"Helena." Narendra then fell silent. He explained to the woman who was looking at him like a challenge. The appearance of Helena who looks windy already shows that she has heard all the talk of her with Alisha. When they reported that their daughter was admitted to the hospital, Narendra also gave a brief explanation.

"Java!" urged Helena. However, Narendra's reply then managed to leave him dumbfounded with clenched hands.

"Of course make their lives as worthy as you and Lara."
