The Price of Sainthood

The Price of Sainthood
Stare in disdain

Red Honda Brio speed through the drizzle and split the streets of the capital. The driver stared intently at the speeding black Mercedes in front of him. He must be quick. He cannot lose track.

Arriving at a cafe, the car he was following entered the courtyard and stopped his car there. A mature man who was still gallant then got out of his car. Honda Brio riders can breathe a sigh of relief. It seemed like the man he was following was unaware of his existence. Narendra stepped in with an unsuspecting expression.

The brunette girl immediately followed the man with a sagging step. He did not want to lose track. However, it would be nice for him to remain careful that his efforts to dismantle will not fail completely.

Seeing the man he was following approaching someone who had occupied one of the tables, he smiled with satisfaction. This time his efforts to catch the wet can be sure to run smoothly. Target's in the trap. Too bad, from where he is at this time, he could not see the face of someone who was the man talking clearly.

With his back to his back, he strangely felt the woman's stature was like a stranger. Even though on the face of this earth scattered clothes with the same model and color, he was still sure if the flower motif dress paired with a black blazer was the property of someone he knew.

Feeling disbelief, he shook his head to dispel the sudden bad thoughts.

I don't know what they're talking about. However, the man's gentle attitude towards the woman made the stalker so inflamed. Two people without ties should not hold hands in a public place. Especially with the background of the man who is not an ordinary person. The man is vulnerable to the spotlight from news seekers.

Unable to hold himself back, he rushed over. He had to stop everything before it was too late.

The woman's face becomes more visible as the footsteps approach. He gritted furiously while clenching his fingers. Then unhappily greeted the two in an unexpected way.

Narendra and Alisha compactly turned their heads towards him. As surprised, they reflexively pulled each other's hands and stood up.

"Without?" Both of them said his name at the same time.

"Yes! It's me!" Lara spoke out loudly by raising her chin full of arrogance. His shout was able to attract the attention of everyone who was there to compactly pay attention to the three of them.

"I smell a strong fragrance of betrayal." Lara smiled fiercely while watching Alisha and Narendra take turns.

"You, it's Papa I've always been proud of. And you! He is the friend I rely on the most." Lara's index finger pointed at Alisha after pointing at Narendra for a moment. "How could you possibly conspire to stab me in the back! What's my fault, huh!"

The word papa was thrown when Lara accused Narendra of successfully making Alisha turn her back. For God's sake, he never knew the figure of papa that his best friend always told him all this time. If that is true, isn't their status a half-brother?

"Lara, Papa can explain, son." Narendra who was as surprised as Alisha finally spoke up. He tries to persuade his daughter who seems to be hit by the togetherness of himself with Alisha. However, he felt his daughter was caught in a misunderstanding until he needed to straighten out immediately. Unfortunately it's free. Lara was angry and went away with her cries.

The low boisterous voice of the surrounding people suddenly talked about them with ugliness. All who were there even looked in disdain at Alisha and Narendra.
