"Thank you." Alisha spoke kindly when a woman dressed as a typical cafe waiter dropped two glasses of ice thai tea along with two servings of snacks.
"Together." The girl nodded politely and left.
Alisha shakes one of the thai tea glasses in front of Lara who looks grim and persuades her to drink.
"Ra, have a drink first let's go."
"What?" ask Lara.
"Yes his throat. What do you think?"
Lara snorted softly. "I think I can make a hot brain."
Alisha laughed at Lara's words. Although it looks upset, but Lara still grabbed the glass and drank the water using a straw.
"No boy?" alisha asked after noticing Lara drinking.
"Obsolutely normal. I often drink what I think is good. It's even boring now."
"Do you want to impress the others?" haggar Alisha.
Lara shook her head quickly. "No need. I have no taste now. I just want to talk to you."
"Curhat. I'm ready to be horrified, really."
Lara looked at Alisha, while Alisha smiled softly as she placed her hands on the table. The girl showed her readiness to be a good listener.
"My father, Al." Lara started her story while putting on a veiled face. "The longer the weirder I look. I often tell her she smiles on her own. Like a madman. I suspect she's in love again, Al. Don't he have a sugar baby."
Alisha's eyes suddenly heard Lara's story. "Don't carelessly talk about your papa, Ra. Don't be so bad to think. That's not good" he said.
"You can say that because you don't know what my mama is, Al!" sahut Lara with a high voice. "I'm tired of seeing Mama cry! I'm tired of seeing my parents make noise every day! But I also did not think, why my parents can survive together until now even without love."
"Without love?" Alisha repeated a piece of Lara's sentence with a flabbergasted expression.
"Not love each other but how to have children? Oops. Sorry." which." Alisha's hand immediately closed her mouth when she realized she had asked an undue question.
Lara twists her eyeballs. "Love is love, but sex is a need, Al. My mommy dad slept in bed. Yeah, it's gotta be a kid, it's!"
Alisha just smirked at Lara's explanation.
Lara stirred her ice and sucked a little before continuing the story. "But I can't completely blame my papa either, Al. My mother also contributed to the disharmony of their relationship. Mama was too busy with her social life, to the point of being remiss with her duties as a wife."
"You're patient, Ra." That's all Alisha can do. Grasping Lara's hand as a form of concern. He can only give support and strengthen. Lara doesn't need advice. The girl just wants to be heard.
"Thank you, Al." Lara smiled as she returned Alisha's grasp.
"Together," replied Alisha sincerely.
"You know what, Al? I secretly learned the science of domestic life from them. But what I observed was more the mistakes my father made. They lack communication and tend to have no intention of improving relationships. Don't ask me again how many times I tried to advise. Very often, Al. But they don't care because I'm just a little kid."
Alisha clenched her hand when she felt Lara's emotions getting smoldering. While Lara herself seems to understand with Alisha's heart intent. He took a deep breath and tried to suppress his anger.
"That's why I don't want to be betrothed, Al. I don't want my house to be like my mom."
Alisha's mouth was severed, while her eyeballs were rounded and her eyebrows raised. He's flabbergasted.
"I'm being betrothed, Al. Same guy I don't know. The guy is handsome. Tajir. But how else do I not love. I'm traumatized by matchmaking. And it reflects on their lives."
"Just a moment Ra." Alisha raised her hand as if asking for attention for a moment. "You said you don't know, but you know that your candidate is handsome. How the hell?" ask her then in a tone of incomprehension.
"Because papa once gave me a look at his picture and I only saw a glimpse of it, Al. I threw it because I was upset. He's papa's best friend's son. Very young. He was two two two. I'm not sure he can be the head of a good family. And one more thing you need to know, Al. Looks like guys don't agree with this matchmaking plan either."
"Where do you know?"
"From his actions he would rather run away!" lara brightly with a resentful tone and made Alisha dumbfounded. However, a moment later Lara smiled. Makes her not understand the expression Lara is showing. Sad or happy.
