The Price of Sainthood

The Price of Sainthood
You believe in me, right?

Dante could see Alisha's paled face. The girl thought her mother was still there, but she saw Niken coming out a while ago to receive a call from her phone. Whether because of daydreaming or so seriously stirring the dough, Alisha to the point of not realizing it.

"Dante .... I'm not who you are. Plis, don't be like this." This time Alisha pleaded in a soft tone. The girl was kind of wailing but reluctant to look at her face. Alisha glanced at him backwards and tended to avoid their bodies touching.

Inside the spacious kitchen was not just the two of them. There were some Niken housekeepers there. Unfortunately they seem not to know and do not want to interfere in people's affairs. Seeing it like this, they pretended not to see.

Dante smiled in response to the girl's attitude. He understands Alisha is not not love. It is just that she is maintaining her dignity as a woman. Dante really likes it. After all, he doesn't really want to have a romance with Alisha. He was just testing the girl. And he got a satisfactory answer.

Enough has seduced Alisha with delinquency. He decided to focus on his goal of approaching Alisha in the kitchen.

"Sorry it scared you." Dante retreated to create distance. However, his gaze was in no way detached from the girl. With his position leaning on the edge of the table, Dante could see clearly the face of Ayu Alisha who met with embarrassment.

"No pa-pa." Alisha replied without looking at Dante. To cover the groggy he again stir the dough that had stopped.

"Can we talk?"

Instantly Alisha raised her face, looking at Dante intently. The young man looked serious this time.

"What's that about Lara?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Of course I can. Just say it." Alisha's face was enthusiastic.

Dante turned his eyes to some of his mother's assistants, then called out to one of them.

"Mbak Neti, can you help Alisha?"

The woman named Neti turned her head and answered aloud. "Sure, Mas."

"Thank you, Ma'am," said Dante kindly, then pulled Alisha's hand gently after removing the girl's apron.

"What do you want to say about Lara, Dante. Have you seen him?" Alisha could no longer resist asking. He immediately attacked Dante with the question after they sat down on the sofa.

"It has. Not even just to meet him," answered Dante who immediately made Alisha turn her back.

"You mean?" Alisha's eyes narrowed at Dante. I don't know why Dante's words just now seemed to imply a meaning. "What are you doing, Dante? Don't tell me you kidnapped her back!" curious insistence.

"I didn't kidnap her, Alisha. He was alone who confidently came to see me."

Alisha was silent for a moment. The girl breathed a heavy breath. Dante said that with a serious face, he certainly believed. After all Lara also seems to be very obsessed with Dante, of course, the girl is very trusting even though Dante only fools her.

"I ...." Dante grabbed Alisha's hand and grasped it full of tenderness. "What is your heart made of? Lara is already evil with you, but why don't you at all ngizinin I avenge her bad deeds."

"Not allowing, Dante. I'm just afraid I'm going to impact Papa's good name."

Dante nodded in understanding then smiled steadily. "OKAY. I'm going to take revenge that won't concern Om Narendra's honor."

"You believe me, right?" Instead of explaining, Dante asked that like asking for approval. There was calmness in Alisha's heart when she sat down with firm but reassuring eyeballs. Until finally, inevitably Alisha nodded in agreement even though her heart was growled with curiosity.

***

When she opened her eyes, Lara was surprised not to play when she found herself in a pitch-black room sitting. His eyes circled all over, but there was only darkness and stuffy air piercing the sense of smell. He tried to remember how he got here, did not he previously argue with Dante because he kidnapped Alisha?

Lara refused to remember that. He also did not know how long he had been unconscious. There is something more important than remembering the past, especially if it concerns someone he hates the most, namely Alisha. He must quickly find a way out to get out of here, before someone realizes he is awake.

When he was about to wake up, suddenly his movement stopped because his body was like restrained. Lara lowered her head, then spontaneously rounded her eyes when she realized something.

God fucking. Apparently in addition to sealing, Dante's men also tied him up. Lara could feel the bond was extremely strong, evident from her limited space of movement. Not just hands, but feet.

Panic and fear subconsciously made Lara want to scream. Unfortunately again, his lips felt twisted and stiff.

Fucking dante! How dare he treat me like this! the pekikin' in heart. Lara believes someone has plastered her mouth with duct tape. Wh-wh-what for? Is it so that he doesn't scream? Or maybe this is their effort to make the suffering more complete?

Honestly, Lara wasn't just panicking and freaking out. However, he was also very, very tortured. He had never suffered like this before. Is it her fault that Dante is so angry? He only intends to secure Alisha so that their engagement is smooth, is it wrong?

Not only was he angry, but he was also disappointed in Dante. As a potential fiancee, Dante should have defended her instead of protecting Alisha!

Lara thought she couldn't stay here forever. He has to get out any way. Yeah, the only way he's got to create a voice is to grab the attention of everyone out there. Lara tried to shout though it was unclear, trying to rebel even though the iron chair that supported her also turned out to be very heavy.

Whether no one heard her or she was ignored, Lara was really frustrated when no one came. The girl started crying very hard. Tears mixed with sweat drenched his frightened face.

Until, the sound of the door opening from the outside, finally interrupted Lara's cry.

"Whisper! You can shut up, right?" said someone standing under the door frame. Lara stared at the figure with squinting eyes. It was very dark in the room, while it was very bright out there. Lara had to blink her eyes repeatedly to adjust the incoming light. Unfortunately, he had to swallow a sense of disappointment because he did not recognize the figure of the man who reprimanded him.

Lara wanted to scream for release, but the duct tape that smothered her mouth made her voice sink. However, there were positive things that he obtained from the curse. The young man finally moved closer. Maybe I want to open the duct tape so I can hear his voice clearly.

Lara's guess didn't miss. The man did open the duct tape in his mouth, but not in a slow way but a pull. Sontak Lara squealed because the area of her mouth felt pain by the force of the pull of the duct tape itself.

"Bad! You don't know who I am! How dare you treat me like this!" screech in between cries.

"Bodo who are you! Clearly, while here you are our prisoner!" reply to that person loudly.

"I'll make you suffer more!"

"Please if you can!" the young man was challenging. "Sok-okan. Just breaking free from the bond can't."

Alisha gave a desperate sigh. He stared at the man's back in a dim light in despair, until a crazy idea flashed in his mind.

Don't everybody need money? Who refused the offer of money, especially in large quantities. That's what he's gonna do with that guy. Make an offer that will benefit both parties.

"Wait!" peeked Lara, who instantly stopped the man's steps.
