The Fragrant Wood Swordsman

The Fragrant Wood Swordsman
Pkh 14 part 1

On the third day, after his patience was almost exhausted, after his head began to dry because of failure and his strength was exhausted from the cobbling and pushing every part of the walls and stones, and, he was suddenly attracted by the loud noise as he tapped on the black wall at the back with his sword.

This loud noise is a sign that the stone that became the wall was empty, or behind the wall was an empty room! His heart pounded and he began to research. This part is dark because the walls are black stones.

Keng Hong used his sword to stab and suddenly the sword pierced a hole until it collapsed into its hilt! Keng Hong held back his call, then quickly twirled the Siang-bhok-kiam sword to the left right.

Suddenly there was a rumbling behind the stone wall. Keng Hong pulled out his sword and the rumbling was followed by a screeching sound, then the wall moved and there appeared a large five-square-foot hole in the black stone wall!

"Thank you, lunches, again you helped me!" Keng Hong kissed the Fragrant Wood Sword then he crawled into this hole. Who knows if there is a path that will lead him to freedom, he thought.

As soon as he pierced through the two-meter thick black stone wall, he saw another room behind the wall and his heart was disappointed. Not a way out, this room is also a dead end!

However, his disappointment soon vanished, covered by astonishment and horror when he saw a human skeleton that was still intact while ‘hungkong’ sat in an ivory chair! The skull from the skeleton was slightly lowered and it looked like it was laughing at him!

Keng Hong shuddered and shook his head. Dream her? Or is it because three days of continuous labor without eating makes him unable to use his eyes and mind normally? However, no matter how much he shook his head, when he looked back, the frame remained there, sitting on an ivory chair and next to the frame was an ivory table.

The table legs were made of carved ivory, the surface of the stone was smooth white and on the table was located a book that was so old yellow. For a moment Keng Hong was enchanted. Even though the skeleton is just a bunch of human bones, but the attitude of sitting still imagines an upright and authoritative attitude, such as the attitude of a king or someone who is used to worship people.

Surprisingly, for Keng Hong there was a feeling as if the skeleton was the host or owner of the rooms within this sword stone, and he himself as an uninvited guest. He felt guilty, and without realizing it too, Keng Hong bent both knees and whispered, "Locianpwe, apologize for my leniency..."

He knelt down and as soon as he lowered his head, there was an engraving of small letters on the stone floor in front of his knees. The letters were engraved so small that he could not see them if he did not kneel down and bow his face. His heart was pounding what else when he knew the engraving of these letters was as true as the engravings on the handle of the sword of Siang-bhok-kiam! It is clear that the engraving of the letters on the floor and on the handle of the sword was made by one person, namely his teacher, Sin-jiu Kiam-ong!

Keng Hong guessed. It would not be wrong if he suspected that this skeleton was the skeleton of the Thai Kek Couwsu, he said, the founder of Kun-lun-pai who was rumored to have once ascended to Kiam-kok-san and vanished with his body so that the sword stone was considered a sacred place by Kun-lun-pai. May the god-like rumored grandfather be next to the sword stone and die in this hidden place! And his skeleton was found to be the temperature, Sin-jiu Kiam-ong!

He honoured the order and quickly worshipped eight times, saying, "Teecu Cia Keng Hong apologizes for the carelessness of the teecu on the glorious Couwsu."

Then his attention was drawn to the book on the table. He was hesitant, because he felt he had no right to touch the book. But then he thought that his teacher, who was very fond of science and loved heirlooms, would be impossible not to examine the book. Maybe that's why his teacher thanked Thai Kek Couwsu?

There is no silatologist who would not be interested in reading the book of a saint! So he got up and went to the table, carefully taking the book from the table. Suddenly there was a clattering sound and the skeleton collapsed from the top of the chair emitting a frenzied sound!

Keng Hong quickly jumped to the side, his face pale in shock. But he immediately understood that if there was little movement, the bones would collapse, because there was no connector. If the frame can still sit for a long time, this is because the way ‘duit’ bones which are the skeleton is very precise, in accordance with the way of sitting berbedhi called ‘kesbalance’. He became more amazed then put the book on the table to be able to perfect the remains of the Thai Kek Couwsu body by burning the bones.

The bones were dry enough so that it was easy to eat fire, so for a moment the body of the founder of Kun-lun-pai was already reduced to ashes. Keng Hong collected this ash and sprinkled it into a ravine at the end of the passageway inhabited by swiftlets. Thin ash flew in the wind, filling the air as if it were one with nature around it!

Keng Hong immediately returned to the skeletal room again and as soon as he took the book on the table, now the letters were engraved on the surface of the table like rags of sharp objects. These letters are different from Sin-jiu Kiam-ong's writing style, so he suspects that this is certainly the Thai Kek Couwsu. He respectfully read the engraved letters.

‘Thai-kek Sin-kun is left for him who is a matchmaker to enter this place and it is hoped that he likes to be the chairman of Kun-lun-pai.’

Keng Hong frowned and did not dare to open the book on his outer skin which was written his name: THAI KEK SIN KUN. Ahhh, now he also understands the meaning of the letters on the floor, written by Sin-jiu Kiam-ong.
