Shin Yu's

Shin Yu's
Back to City Building Center

Shin Yu did not think too long and rejected the offer to join from Fang Lin, the reason being that he was unwilling to enter into an organization that sounded dangerous especially to him Fang Lin was a stranger.

"Are you sure? Your life would be in vain if you were the dog of the powerful..." Fang Lin asked to be sure.

"For now I'm sure of that answer." Shin Yu replied without thinking twice.

Fang Lin paused for a moment before rising to his feet while re-wearing his coat, "Alright if it's your decision, I'm leaving. Bye bye..."

Fang Lin directly left from there after saying so, while Ma Hong and his two comrades saw the departure of the black-coated young man in silence until his whereabouts disappeared from the tavern.

"Based on a madman, come and say such a thing." Le Yun sneered, his face still looking annoyed.

"Lunatics don't seem to know that their actions are crazy." Le Jun said quickly.

"It's been... Forget it, let's just say it never happened." said Ma Hong so that the two of them didn't talk about Fang Lin any further, "By the way, it's good that you rejected him, Shin Yu. That assassin organization is far more terrifying than you can imagine, people like them will not hesitate to kill anyone as long as it is their mission."

Shin Yu only nodded in understanding as Ma Hong said so, for now he had no plans other than to become a city warrior. His goal now was to expand his limited knowledge, besides that he also needed to open his Little Meridian in order to make it easier for him to increase his cultivation base.

Shin Yu would try as much as possible to hide her cultivation talent, because if news of her Golden Dantian were to spread widely there would be individuals as well as groups who wanted it. It is not impossible if there is a war between them and endanger his life.

"But that guy's weird, isn't he? He must be a murderer, but he's easily telling us his identity." Le Yun had been thinking about this from earlier, he felt that it was something strange.

"I'm sure that the face we saw just now is fake, it's impossible for a murderer to blatantly tell his face like that." Le Jun replied quickly.

Usually the hitmen hide or change their identities to keep the secret from being arrested, they must maintain their reputation as professional killers so as not to undermine the trust of existing clients.

The two brothers talked about Fang Lin for a while until their meal came, Ma Hong and Shin Yu only heard the conversation of the two in silence. Despite having been reminded not to talk about that person anymore, the two ignored so Ma Hong gave up and focused his attention on Shin Yu.

"Looking at him had absolutely no reaction when that person talked about the deaths of those closest to him made me think that this child had not experienced any trauma or anything." Ma Hong's inner voice as she looked at Shin Yu, "Is he a child who easily forgets things or because he is still a child and does not understand what has happened to him all this time?"

But usually 10-year-olds can digest the situation around them, children like them should already understand the figure called parents and siblings.

While in the tavern, Ma Hong thought about that in silence, he no longer thought about it after the waiter came to deliver the food.

After finishing breakfast and exiting the tavern, Ma Hong parted ways with his two comrades to escort Shin Yu to the City Building Center. When you get there, the atmosphere is not too crowded because the time is still fairly early in the morning.

Ma Hong chose to queue because the queue was not all yesterday. In less than ten minutes they were reunited with an old man who became the city security manager.

In the room, the old man was not alone but rather a young man who was several steps behind him. He had a sword sheathed on his right waist, and it was likely that the young man was a left-handed sword user.

"No problem, the sooner you come, the sooner my work is done." Ma Hong gave a small nod with a faint smile, "Your name is Shin Yu, isn't it? I'm Nam Jin. I am the Deputy Chief of Security of this city, Mueyang city."

Although his introduction was too late, Nam Jin did not care much because it was just a form of formality.

"How should I call you?" asked Shin Yu curiously.

"It's enough to be called Master Jin." replied Nam Jin, then looked back, "The person behind me is going to be your senior, he is Nam Quan, my only son. He's been working as a soldier for eight more years, you'll learn a lot with him."

"I see, greetings, Senior." said Shin Yu as she cupped her hands.

"Greetings to you, Junior." Nam Quan smiled faintly.

"Then, I'll let you leave." Ma Hong once again cupped his hands together, then turned his gaze to Shin Yu and held his head with his right hand, "Shin Yu, from today on you will stay in this city and become a soldier. I hope that while here, you can learn many things and become a reliable soldier. I'll go back to the Bureau and if there's a chance to come back to this town, I'll definitely go see you."

"Thank you for helping me, uncle."

"Together, be a good boy, okay?" Ma Hong smiled, while Shin Yu simply nodded her head.

Ma Hong then walked out of the room and left Shin Yu with Nam Jin and Nam Quan.

"Junior Yu, let's go to the warrior dormitory." Nam Quan took Shin Yu along, while Nam Jin sat back in his place and took care of the files.

Shin Yu simply assented and Nam Quan guided him out of the City Building Center, the two of them going to a spacious place not far from there.

The place in question has four buildings and all four surround each other to form a box, then in the middle there is a large field that has been cast by cement. The atmosphere there was not too crowded, most of the people who were there were wearing similar clothes and it seemed like those clothes were the official clothes for the soldiers of this city.

"Because you're 10, you're going to get a full year of temporary training. Until then, you won't get a soldier's assignment or anything." Nam Quan said, "For that long, I'll be your supervisor."

"Did senior train me too?"

"No, I'm just a watchdog." Nam Quan shook his head lightly, "You will be taught by a Master who has retired to become a city warrior. He was quite hard, but actually he had a good heart. I hope you can be nice to her, respect her like you respect your parents, okay?"

"I understand, Senior."

After the conversation ended, Nam Quan explained many other things such as the city regulations and the compliance standards of a soldier.
