Shin Yu's

Shin Yu's
Get out of the village

"Son, are you okay?" Liu Kang asked, he felt guilty for letting Shin Yu see the grievous death of his parents at this early age.

"No, man's destiny is basically death." Shin Yu shook her head slightly.

Liu Kang was silent for a moment after hearing Shin Yu's reply. Apparently, Shin Yu was a child who thought logically, not caring much about his feelings when speaking or acting.

"You're right, nothing is eternal in this world..." Liu Kang touched Shin Yu's head, "Let's bury your father and mother first, after that we leave this village."

"All right, but where are we going?" Shin Yu asked.

"We are going to the 5th sect of the Sword King, there is my residence" Liu Kang replied with a smile.

"I understand." Shin Yu nodded small.

"Then, you use it to dig a meter deep. Let this old man take care of the bodies of your parents" Liu Kang said, pointing to a hoe that happened to be near the wall of the house.

"Good." Shin Yu answered as he could, then took the hoe and began to dig the ground beside the house a meter deep.

Meanwhile, Liu Kang went into the house and wrapped Shin Yu's father's body with a makeshift cloth around him, the same thing he did to Shin Yu's mother.

After wrapping the two bodies in makeshift cloths, Liu Kang lifted them up easily and took them to the side of the house.

Liu Kang was quite surprised to see that Shin Yu had already dug the first hole and was now digging the second one, it was not until five minutes that he was inside the house but Shin Yu was able to finish it at an incredible speed.

"Why did you make two holes at once?" liu Kang asked after arriving, as he had not previously told specifically how many holes Shin Yu had to dig.

"Because there are two of them, besides they are both my biological parents. It is my duty to give them the final rest they deserve..." Shin Yu replied without averted her eyes.

"That's it, huh?" Liu Kang smiled faintly, despite having almost no emotions but Shin Yu was still able to respect her parents.

After properly burying Shin Yu's parents, Liu Kang could see the boy lamenting the two tombs with a blank look.

"Do you feel sad?" Liu Kang asked as he touched Shin Yu's head.

"Not really..." Shin Yu shook her head slightly, "I was just curious, what were they thinking so they decided to give birth to me."

"Why are you curious about that?"

"Because they can't understand each other, it's not healthy to see in any way their relationship." Shin Yu explained calmly.

Liu Kang stroked his chin as if one were thinking, "This old man doesn't understand, but they probably won't have the heart to abort you. Although their relationship is not healthy but they still have a heart, besides you are their flesh and blood."

"Then why did you dump me? If he had any affection for me even if it was just a speck, he shouldn't have dumped me in the middle of the Forest filled with beasts, right?" Shin Yu felt a little confused.

"Your father was probably drunk, I had a chance to smell the alcohol from his body." Liu Kang replied, "After all, no matter how bad your parents are, they are still your parents. You can be angry with them but don't hate them, your parents don't have to be followed and choose your own way of life."

"I understand." Shin Yu nodded once.

"Then, we'll start the journey tomorrow. It doesn't matter if you have to stay at your house for a day, does it?" liu Kang asked to confirm, despite having almost no emotions but that did not mean Shin Yu did not get traumatized after losing both of her parents.

"No problem..."

Liu Kang smiled faintly and then brought Shin Yu inside the house.

......................

Next day.

Before the sun rose, Liu Kang woke Shin Yu who was asleep in the room, the boy immediately woke up after he opened the door.

"Are you still sleepy?"

"Good, let's go." Liu Kang smiled while Shin Yu gave a small nod, then packed some clothes to carry.

Liu Kang waited outside as Shin Yu got ready, he could see some of the villagers starting to pass by and their attention was fixed on the two mounds of land beside the house.

Liu Kang himself simply ignored their curious gazes, sooner or later the truth about the two mounds of land would also be revealed.

"Hm, there seems to be a misunderstanding if I leave without giving an explanation..." Liu Kang stroked his chin, then raised both shoulders, "Yes, I let that be a rumor."

Liu Kang didn't really care because the two of them were going to leave this village.

"Are you ready?" Liu Kang shifted his gaze and found Shin Yu who had just walked out of the house.

"Yes." Yeah." Shin Yu replied briefly.

Liu Kang gave a small nod and with Shin Yu they both left this village.

***

During the trip, Liu Kang taught Shin Yu basic knowledge of Cultivator World. Not to forget he also gives an overview of the feud between two different streams as well as others.

As far as Liu Kang was concerned, Shin Yu only gave a flat expression without any admiration or fear. However one thing was certain, Shin Yu was a genius child who could easily remember something.

The reason Liu Kang was able to confirm that was because he had once asked back the story he had told, and Shin Yu replied with the same words as he had said before.

"Do you want to become a Cultivator?" Liu Kang asked.

Shin Yu did not immediately reply and chose to think for a moment, "Am I talented on that path?"

"The talent to become a Cultivator can be seen from anywhere but people mostly choose to see from the color of their dantian" Liu Kang said then pointed towards his stomach, "The dantian is located in this section, usually you need to open the meridians so that the circulation of energy can be collected there."

"Do I have to open meridians in order to become a Cultivator?" asked Shin Yu curiously.

"Actually not really, without opening the meridians even though you can still use energy, but in terms of absorption speed and also energy control they will lose far to those who have opened the meridian points." Liu Kang explained, "To put it simply, the more meridian points that are open the more profit that is gained."

"So, how do I see my dantian color?" asked Shin Yu curiously.

"I can check it out, you want to?"

"certain." Shin Yu nodded without hesitation.

The two of them then stopped and Liu Kang immediately told Shin Yu to reveal her right palm.

Shin Yu herself did as Liu Kang said, and the old man touched her slowly and then began to close his eyes.

For less than a minute, Liu Kang's eyes finally opened and he showed a clearly shocked expression.

"Lantian Gold.." Liu Kang's voice sounded softly.

Seeing the old man's expression made Shin Yu sure that the Golden Dantian was something extraordinary.

"In cultivation talent, you are a very extraordinary genius, son!" said Liu Kang spirit.

"What is a Golden Dantian?" asked Shin Yu curiously.

"The Golden Dantian is the pinnacle of all existing dantians. As far as I know, there are only four people who have a Golden Dantian and two of them are still alive today." Liu Kang replied, "You are a truly blessed child, your future must be very bright if it is in the hands of the right Master."

Shin Yu only kept quiet after hearing all that, she was not happy at all despite knowing that she had extraordinary cultivation talent.
