Shin Yu's

Shin Yu's
The Main Headquarters of the Ancient Blood Organization II

"Well, I didn't think all the higher-ups would be present. That's surprising..." Fang Lin opened his coat and showed a faint smile.

"You should pay your respects after coming here, you're not being polite." a beautiful woman in her 30s said in an annoyed tone.

"Ah, unfortunately I was too tired to do so." Fang Lin said with a lazy face, but then he widened his smile and held Shin Yu's head, "Rather than that, he said, you better give me a reward for successfully recruiting this child."

"According to reports, he should still be at the initial Forging Qi level, was he cultivating during the trip here?" asked a long-haired young man with boxed glasses and narrowed eyes.

"Yes, I purposely let him cultivate because he doesn't want to waste his precious time." Fang Lin immediately gave his reason.

"Well, that's right. But without a proper Cultivation Manual, the time cannot be used efficiently."

"Don't talk about anything unimportant, give me the contract paper" said a burly middle-aged man whose arms were covered with incision scars.

"By pleasure, Chairman." Fang Lin immediately handed the contract paper over after saying so.

The middle-aged man called 'Chairman' received the contract paper given by Fang Lin, he momentarily fell silent before his sharp and powerful gaze pointed at Shin Yu, "The contract paper is bound by the laws of the Ancient Blood organization, you already know about it, don't you?"

"Yes." Yeah." Shin Yu replied briefly.

"Good, as long as you don't break the rules then your life in this organization will be very assured" said the middle-aged man calmly, "My name is Fang Qin, my name is Fang Qin, I am the Chairman of the Ancient Blood organization. While these parents around me are the higher-ups of the organization that are often called 'The Eight Deaths', you can later call them by their respective nicknames."

"In addition, they will be your personal teachers, even I myself will be one of them." Fang Qin paused the words then got up to his feet, he then jumped forward and stopped right in front of Shin Yu, "However before that, I want to ask you something. Are you here for fear of death?"

"Not really, I just think according to logic." Shin Yu immediately replied and her eyes fearlessly looked at Fang Qin.

"It seems right..." Fang Qin was a little surprised because Shin Yu did not feel threatened by his presence, "Your eyes look empty as if you don't care about the World, I thought you were traumatized from being born from a trashy old man, I thought you were traumatized by being born from a trashy old man, but it seems my guess was wrong. Your heart is dead, you don't care about anything and just act according to your logic."

"Well, you're almost right."

"Almost right, huh? So, you still have feelings?"

"Yes, I have a feeling of wanting to know."

"Suffers of knowledge, huh? That's fascinating..." Fang Qin grinned, then touched Shin Yu's shoulder, "Alright, in another week you will get special training from The Eight Deaths. Make the best use of your free time because later there will not be many holidays for you."

"I understand." Shin Yu answered obediently.

"I understand." Fang Lin gave a small nod, then grabbed Shin Yu's shoulder and led him away outside the room.

***

The main headquarters of the Ancient Blood organization had a branching place, and it would be difficult for new people to remember the existing path. However, Shin Yu did not take long to remember the path from the previous room to her new residence.

Although it was quite far because it had to pass through the other four great halls, but for Shin Yu the path felt quite simple. He just had to pay attention to the little things along the way and that was an easy thing for him.

Finally, Shin Yu arrived at a very spacious room, roughly twice as large as his dorm room in the Military Academy.

"From now on you're going to live here alone, how is it?" Fang Lin asked with a smile with both hands at the waist.

"Isn't this too broad for me? Do you want to pamper me to reduce my chances of betrayal?" Shin Yu asked.

Fang Lin slightly raised his eyebrows before chuckling, "Hahaha... Don't be so confident, boy. The talented assassins had rooms exactly like this, there were even bigger ones. They occupy a place that suits their talents. Easily, the more talented a person is, the more facilities they can get."

Shin Yu paused for a moment and nodded her head in understanding, it seemed like she had too quickly concluded.

"Here you go, Mun Yong will lead you to the library. I want to go back, I haven't felt a soft mattress in a long time." Fang Lin turned around and walked out of there casually.

Shin Yu looked at Fang Lin until his whereabouts were out of sight, she then circulated her gaze for a moment then gazed towards Mun Yong who was silent in his place, "Senior, "Senior, I want to go to the library now."

"Are you leaving? You can't wait apparently..." Mun Yong shook his head slightly, then took out a silver plate from behind his black coat, "Take this every time you want to go to the library. By showing it to the guards guarding the library, you will be given unlimited entry and exit."

Mun Yong gave the silver plate after saying so, while Shin Yu accepted it and read the inscription engraved on the silver plate, "DK 02...?"

"The intent of the DK is Ancient Blood, and the number 02 indicates its rank." Mun Yong said, then gave a more detailed explanation, "To access the library, there are two types of plates that can be used, which can be used, silver plate and black plate. Each plate has three ranks that start from the lowest number. A plate with a rank one can only access the books on the first floor only, a rank two plate can access the first and second floors, while a rank three plate can access all three floors at once."

Shin Yu paused for a moment before nodding in understanding, "Then, what about the black plate?"

"The black plate is the entrance to the secret library, for this one I have not been able to explain in detail but only certain people can get in there." replied Mun Yong calmly.

Shin Yu felt a little curious about the contents of the secret library, but at the moment she chose not to think too much about it and focused her attention on her current goal.

Over the next week, Shin Yu planned to make use of each of her spare time to absorb as much of the knowledge that was in the library as possible. He does not want to waste his time because he believes that all the knowledge he has gained will be a profitable investment for him in the future.
