Shin Yu's

Shin Yu's
Basic Martial Sword

Shin Yu and the dozens of disciples who followed the sword teachings did not make any sound at all when Instructor Nam Quan demonstrated his sword technique. By the time the demonstration ended, the applause of most of the students there was heard.

"From now on, you'll be repeating the moves I showed you just now for a week. If you can't demonstrate it properly, I'll give it another week and so on until you can really." Nam Quan said firmly, "While those who can do it right within the allotted timeframe or even earlier, I will teach the later stages. Your learning speed is the key, the sooner you learn the more knowledge you get."

All the disciples there immediately nodded in understanding when they heard that, the atmosphere became silent because Instructor Nam Quan was silent. And then, Li Huifang began to demonstrate the movements made by Instructor Nam Quan earlier.

Not long after, the other children including Shin Yu followed Li Huifang and demonstrated the sword technique demonstrated by Instructor Nam Quan earlier.

Instructor Nam Quan himself noticed the children who started demonstrating the basic sword techniques, his eyes swept around him and stopped at one child who was none other than Shin Yu.

"Great as well as him..." Instructor Nam Quan was quite amazed to see Shin Yu being able to perform the initial movements of the basic sword technique, "Let's see, until when your movements will be that smooth."

Instructor Nam Quan continued to focus his attention on Shin Yu, his eyebrows going up and down when he saw the boy was able to repeat the initial and intermediate movements smoothly. The longer he looked, the more surprised he was. Because, from the initial movement to the end, Shin Yu was able to repeat it perfectly without the slightest mistake.

"Lt's amazing... What talent does he have?" Instructor Nam Quan asked inwardly, his expression looking amazed as well as surprised.

Although the basic sword movement was the easiest movement to learn in martial arts, it did not mean that someone without the slightest experience could imitate it in one look. Even for a genius alone, it would take at least a dozen minutes to perfectly imitate him.

Instructor Nam Quan then shook his head slowly, then noticed the other students. Despite knowing the talented Shin Yu, he must not forget his duties as a teacher.

On the other hand, Shin Yu found out that Instructor Nam Quan had been paying attention to him since earlier. He deliberately did that in order to get more other martial arts, of course the reason is because his training period is only 7 months left.

Shin Yu never asked the reason why he had only received special training for one year, but from the amount of information he had obtained over the past three months, there are several possible reasons why he only got one year of training.

For the first reason, Shin Yu still did not have a clear identity, so some people still doubted her story even though she had told her about the incident. However, this reason is weak because the case is still in the investigation stage and has not been completed.

While the second reason was that Shin Yu was a child who entered the military academy for free and did not match the time of registration. Moreover, every year he does not pay the cost of boarding facilities and other needs like other students.

And the third and final reason was, Shin Yu was the child with the lowest cultivation talent at her level. Although not everything was seen from cultivation talent, it was generally the talent of a cultivator seen from there. Nam Quan's father, who had brought Shin Yu here, had no good reason to give him the proper facilities, because he thought that it would be a waste of money.

Of the three possible reasons that Shin Yu had managed to think about, he was quite certain of the second and third reasons. However, there is no certainty of all the reasons.

***

Shin Yu had always learned new techniques given by Instructor Nam Quan, and for a month he had managed to make his mentor run out of techniques to teach.

"Your learning speed is truly incredible, Shin Yu! You might be on par with geniuses in the middle sects." Nam Quan gave quite an enthusiastic compliment after Shin Yu had successfully learned his final sword technique, "I don't know what other techniques to teach you, do you want to study with the other Instructors?"

Shin Yu slightly tilted her head, "Is that doable?"

"Of course, I've said that learning speed is the key, right?" Nam Quan smiled faintly, "As long as martial arts learning time is not over, you can learn other martial arts besides swords with other Instructors."

Shin Yu did not immediately reply but thought for a moment, if he showed his talent blatantly it was not impossible if a certain party started to glance at him and even wanted to. However, the more martial arts he had, the stronger he would become.

Shin Yu then analyzed the other four Instructors who were experts with certain weapons such as Spear, Bow, Guandao and Short Sword. Of the four weapons, perhaps the most useful are the Bow and Guandao.

Shin Yu was not going to learn all the techniques from the four Instructors because it would really attract the attention of others, so he will study with two other Instructors who are none other than Guandao Instructor and Bow Instructor.

"Alright, I'll study with the other Instructors." said Shin Yu as she nodded lightly, "Can I start with Instructor Guandao?"

"You can do it, I'll talk to him about it." Instructor Nam Quan said, "By the way, go home early. There are no sword techniques I can teach you..."

"But isn't it still daytime?" Shin Yu looked at the still clear sky but was already willing to go towards the end of the afternoon.

"No problem, what do you want here? You've mastered all my sword techniques, besides you'll be studying with Instructor Sun tomorrow morning."

"I understand." Shin Yu then cupped her hands together, "I leave alone, senior."

"Yes..."

Shin Yu walked away from there and gained a lot of attention from the other sword disciples, one of whom was Li Huifang, the second genius after him.

Whenever Li Huifang looked into his eyes, Shin Yu always felt a sharp gaze accompanied by an angry expression. Despite that, Shin Yu was reluctant to tease her because she did not know what Li Huifang was thinking

Shin Yu then turned her gaze towards Tao Liu and Ju Shan who were in the distance. Because the three of them chose different instructors, they rarely met while in the field.
