My Love Journey's

My Love Journey's
Unexpected.

"Bianka, hey..." I flinched, opening my eyes as I felt a rather loud pat on my cheek. "Sorry, I have to do it. You cry and scream in your sleep. What are you dreaming about?"

I exhaled a loud breath. My face was wet with tears while my clothes were soaked with sweat. I nodded while closing my eyes. My mind turned things around three years ago very clearly.

"Bianka's? You okay?"

"Uh?" I blinked, looking at Yola. "Oh, yeah, yeah. I'm doing fine. Me, I'm going to the kitchen." I said, shuffling down from his bed.

"Do I need company?" his murmur offered with a worried tone.

I'm shaking. "No, I just need a glass of water. I'm fine." I said, smiling to reassure him.

"Alright, but change your clothes first. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in the closet."

I nodded, replaced my damp shirt with one of Yola's shirts, then grabbed my phone and stepped into the kitchen. I glanced at the phone screen and realized it was only five in the morning. I hate waking up so early.

I sat at the kitchen table, reassembled all the events of the day and tried to solve a puzzle that remains a mystery to me. Why did he disappear? Why is it that none of the people closest to him want to talk to me? What the hell is going on?

No matter how hard I tried to guess a possibility, I still could not find a reasonable reason for his sudden departure. The presence of another woman was definitely not one of the causes, and I knew she couldn't possibly betray me. He really loves me, or at least that's how I feel.

Charlotte, the woman I saw in my room with Paul when I came back home was one of the lawyers who helped her with the club's affairs. That day, I made a mistake in concluding something based on what I saw, and we got through that a few days later. Paul didn't kiss her, but whoever was standing in my place at the time would have seen exactly the same thing as me because it looked so.

Well, everything was fine that day and our relationship was fine. Sure, it didn't last long until that horrible day happened, and he left me.

I don't know how long I've been sitting in the kitchen until the ringing of my phone makes me gasp. I looked down and found Franda's name calling.

"Panda, hi," my broom is so connected.

"Oh, thank goodness you're alive" she said, relief was heard in her voice. "Are you okay?"

I frowned. "Yes, I'm fine. What's up?"

"Dean just stopped by the house and said you were drunk last night."

I rolled my eyes while exhaling furiously. "I'm not drunk. He's exaggerating too much." I said. "Again, I'm not a teenager who doesn't know how to cope with a hangover, you don't have to worry."

"Yes, yes, whatever you say." Then, her voice sounded away as she spoke to someone I had guessed her husband before returning to say, "Come home. Mom cooks so much food for you, I'm sure we can feed half the town's population today" she said dramatically.

I laugh. "Do I need to make an announcement for half the town's population? You know, eating for free is everyone's dream." I reply, smiling amusedly.

"If you want him to slit my throat, just do it." he said. "Oh, take Yola with you. You're in his apartment, right?"

"Yes, I'm staying here."

"All right, then, I'll see you." He called out, then cut off the connection before I could say anything.

I looked around and realized the day was bright. I set foot back to Yola's room to wake her up and we immediately got ready for Franda's house.

"You look agitated. What's up?" I asked when we were on the highway. "Did Bob ignore you again?"

Yola rolled her eyeballs. "That's my daily food, why worry about it? You crazy work guy. Day and night only take care of the project and do not care about his wife. In fact, I would've forgotten her face if our wedding photos weren't stuck in the room." - annoyed. "Men are like that, huh? Selfish and selfish."

"Eh, tell me what to worry about it but grumble. Strange." I whispered slowly, and she unfortunately heard me.

"I can hear you" he said sharply.

"Says to you," she replied quickly. "How long have you been absent, huh? Three years? Oh, my gosh, I won't be able to last that long."

"Don't worry. I'm strong." I said, which is, of course, a lie. I'm not that strong.

He grunts. "Bullshit up! I know you, b!tch's."

"Good for you," I said indifferently, ending the useless chatter and focusing on the front.

Arriving at the basement parking area of the towering building where Franda lived, we went straight upstairs. Mia, my other cousin's sister opened the door. "Bianca! Oh, my gosh, I miss you." she said, hugging me tightly before greeting Yola and yelling into the house. "She's coming!"

He led us in, straight to the dining room. I was shocked to see my father, mother, and sister sitting there. "Dad!" I shouted, running to hug her like a child. "Why didn't you tell me you were here?"

"I want to surprise you." He pulled himself up and kissed me on the cheek. "Happy birthday, my son."

"Thank you's. I miss you." I kissed her cheek back.

"I miss you, too."

I turned my head to face my mother. "Mom, why are you here and not in the hospital? As I recall, the doctor said you can't go home yet." I sniffled. Sometimes, this woman is very difficult to manage.

He smiled in his wheelchair. "Omong empty!" said. "How could I have missed this opportunity? I've lost a lot of time with you guys." His tone sounded sad and guilt flashed in his eyes. "Come here, give me a hug like your father."

I hugged her. "You're still jealous, yeah. I spend more time with you."

"Not until you take me back. Happy birthday, my dear. May God always give you happiness."

"Thank you, thank you." I smiled bitterly, doubting the fact that God would give me happiness. Blissfulness.

"B," I turned to Louis. "Happy birthday," he murmured.

"Thank you."

"I have a present for you" said Lily, my niece, pulling the end of my dress and holding out a picture paper to me.

I smiled, received the paper and ducked. "What is this?"

"It's you." she answered cheerfully. I chuckle.

"Oh, I'm honored."

"This is your hair, and this is your head" he murmured. I don't know since when my hair separated from the head, but who I am has the right to judge his hard work.

"Wow-that's so good" I said. His face sparkled as he thanked her.

I rubbed his head while upholding my body and turned to Franda who had now opened both hands, waiting for her turn to embrace me. "Happy birthday, Sissy. I love you."

"Thank's, and I love you, too."

I pulled away from him. And, right at that moment I heard a voice that made my heart stop beating.

"Love."
