Chapter I == ENDLESS MISADVENTURES ==

"Take back your money.”

Ghita placed a white envelope belonging to a man seen in his mid-40s who had just sat down with another mourner with a flat face. He didn't even want to see the man's face.

“ICCCAA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”

A tall handsome – man standing beside the man snapped at Ghita with his childhood call.

“Mistake, relax.”

The man tried to calm his eldest son down from seeing all eyes fixed towards them, like seeing a free spectacle that was a pity to miss.

“I don't want to receive anything from Golden Group. Moreover, its own president who gave it directly.” Ghita looks a little glance at the man who turned out to be the precedent of the Golden Group.

“So, you should take the money back, and go from this place.” command Ghita passed away leaving the person – black-clothed person.

Golden Group is a large corporation that controls almost the entire economy of the country. A company that can do anything for the benefit of their company, even if it has to lower the head of state.

For this reason, everyone is very respectful of the company. But not for Ghita. The girl who will be 18 years old, at the end of the year, hates the Golden Group. He didn't want to deal with the company at all.

In fact, just looking at the news on TV, Ghita will immediately turn off the TV and prefer to clean the house.

“Ica, until when will you be like this?”

“Until you leave this world.”

Ghita answered coldly as the man asked with a loving look at Ghita. A gaze that implied that she missed her little daughter.

“GHITA MAHARDIKA! WATCH WHAT YOU SAY! How can you talk like that to your father.” snapped Gilang increasingly angry because his father was despised even by his own biological sister.

“It's okay – what Gilang, I know, Ica talk like that because she hasn't forgiven me.”

Although Mr. Prabu, the head of the Golden group was sad and hurt to hear his little daughter speak like that, but he understood why Ghita hated him so much considering what happened 10 years ago and made Ghita like this.

An incident that made little Ghita did not want to admit his family again until now.

Little Ghita chose to leave the family and all the luxurious facilities he had. She prefers to live a simple life in a rented house along with a nanny who is already considered her own mother, who has now died.

“STOP CALLING ME ICA!” Ghita snapped with reddened eyes holding back her tears that were about to fall. “Since that incident, we've had no relationship. And that stupid little boy, he was dead right then and there.”

Ghita's tears slowly rolled down her white cheeks. The events of 10 years ago seemed to repeat themselves like a film played in front of him.

“ICA ..”

“I TOLD YOU, THE BOY IS DEAD!” Cut Ghita rough when Gilang will speak.

“STOP!” Pak Prabu mediates. “I don't want you two to fight like this.”

“But dad, he's already..”

“Quite Cross.” cut Pak Prabu. “Fine, we go from here.”

Mr. Prabu prefers to leave the small rented house rather than have to see his two beloved children quarrel because of him.

“Don't forget to take your money and never come here again.”

Ghita remembered his own father. And Mr. Prabu told his men to take the money earlier.

“You make me very disappointed Ghita.”

“I'm also a brother.”

Ghita was sitting limply watching the departure of his father and brother. Shortly thereafter, whispers of – whispers between mourners began to be heard in Ghita's ears, even though they had been like that, since Pak Prabu came.

In this neighborhood, no one knows if Ghita is the youngest daughter of the head of the largest corporation in the country. They only know Ghita is orphaned and lives with his aunt who was Ghita's governess in his family.

After the funeral, Ghita did not leave his house at all. The house is more properly called the room was inhabited Ghita and his aunt since 10 years ago. Of course, there are many things that make Ghita remember with his aunt if he sees every corner in this place.

Three days after the funeral, Ghita finally wanted to leave the house because he had to pay the rent this month. If it wasn't for that, Ghita wouldn't have wanted to get out of the most comfortable place in the world, he wouldn't even care about his school approaching graduation year.

“That house is yours Ghita. Ah, the stall in the market is also already yours. So you don't have to pay the rent anymore.”

Bu Yati, the owner of the house and kiosk that Ghita and her aunt rented, said kindly when Ghita gave her the rent.

“Bu Yati must be kidding. How could that house and stall be mine? The money that aunt keeps is just enough to pay the rent of the house, how can the house and stall be mine when we can not afford the monthly rent?”

Although Ghita actually wants it to be true. But Ghita realized that it could not happen, because he did not feel buying the house and the stall.

How to buy it, if for a day fee – days only he has to work part-time, while his aunt trades in the market. But it's possible, if her aunt had the savings, then bought it before she died.

“Who is joking. Ms. Yati seriously, that house is already yours now.”

Bu Yati invited Ghita to sit down to explain, as they were standing at the door.

“Yesterday, someone wearing a suit came here and gave Bu Yati some money. He said he wanted to buy the house and the stall for you. Looks like they were one of the people who came and you kicked out at your aunt's funeral. So, now the house and kiosk are yours.”

“What? One of the people who came that I kicked out?”

Ghita was seen restraining angrily hearing Bu Yati's explanation. He was sure that one of his father's men had come here at the time.

“True Ghita. Why must you live in agony if your father is the one who ....A ghita? Where you going? Bu Yati has not finished talking.”

Ghita immediately left without waiting for Bu Yati to finish her sentence because she already knew, which way Bu Yati was speaking. When Bu Yati said the person in the suit, Ghita could already guess if that person was his father's man.

Moreover, Bu Yati began to discuss his personal problems that Ghita deliberately covered up all this time. He has memorized with – people like Bu Yati. Who pretended – pura well then use it. And again – again, all this because of his father.

Arriving at home, Ghita immediately took care of his clothes to leave the house that he did not want to leave. He doesn't care where he lives, obviously he has to get out of here.

Since leaving home and not acknowledging her family anymore, Ghita has promised herself not to be in contact with the Golden Group anymore.

Even if she could get this house she wanted to have, having so many memories with her nanny aunt, she would still leave. For Ghita, the Golden Group is a curse in his life.

Ghita is not necessarily looking for a new place to live. After finishing her clothes, Ghita immediately left her home. He did not care about the heavy rain that fell that afternoon. Even the pain that started to whack her stomach because she had not eaten did not concern her

All he had in mind was to go far to a place where – people from Golden Group could not find him.

Ghita thought about ending his life while crossing a bridge. But Ghita remembered the word – said his mother who had died when Ghita was 7 years old.

“The stupidest people in the world are the ones who don't want to think. Even if – people call you stupid, you have to keep learning so you can prove you're not stupid."

The words her mother said when Ghita was ridiculed by a classmate who said she was stupid kept on being remembered by her. And it was with – words that Ghita was motivated to learn, and finally now, she became a smart student and always got a scholarship at her school.

As the rain began to subside, Ghita's steps began to weaken. His vision began to be unclear, he was also shivering and his face was pale.

Ghita rested for a while hoping that the pain would ease a bit. While watching some children playing ball in a park not far from where Ghita was standing, he recalled his past with his older brother.

They both love to play with the rain because they can play in the muddy puddles.

And the funniest thing was when their mother nagged because they walked into the house with small footprints on the floor playing with mud.

“If I could borrow Doraemon's time machine, I would definitely go back to that time. I really miss you right – Brother Gilang.”

At first, Ghita only saw it, but when Ghita realized there was a car going across, Ghita quickly ran after the little boy even though his gaze was getting blurred.

'Please, Save us' Ghita closed her eyes tightly – tightly while hugging the little boy tightly as the car was about to hit them.

There was a loud squeak as the car stopped just before it touched Ghita's feet. A strangely dressed person got out of the car and ran to where Ghita was. Both of them were frozen in fear.

“You're okay – what? Is anyone hurt?”

The strange driver asked anxiously as he checked on Ghita and the little boy one by one but did not get any answers from the two men.

“YAA! ANWSER ME. Is anyone hurt? We're going to the hospital now.”

“We are good – is fine.” Ghita pulled her hand from the driver's grasp.“You're good – is fine right?” Ghita crouched down asking the little boy.

“Iya Kak.” A feeble reply sounded from the little boy's mouth as it was still frightened.

“Sgratitude.” Ghita smiled with relief. “We are both good – is fine, so no need to go to hospital.”

“Really? But your face..”.

“I'm sorry for not taking good care of my sister. I was right – right apologise.”

Ghita immediately cut the driver's words as he was about to say about Ghita's current condition. He knew very well how his current condition was, but he did not want to trouble anyone.

Therefore Ghita wanted to settle the matter quickly so that he could go and get a place to rest.

“Ah, so she's your sister.”

“True, he's my sister. Then we'll fill out first. Come.”

As powerful as Ghita walk like a normal person while holding the child's hand tightly. But his body did not say the same thing, his head felt heavy so he was difficult to walk.

“He was the crash.”

“He will hit my son.”

“So she wants to escape.”

Just a few steps Ghita walked, from the back there was a commotion that made him stop. As he turned around to see what was happening, several people surrounded the driver and scolded him. Some even want to hit him.

“Kak, what uncle is good – is fine.”

The little boy pointed at the driver who was surrounded by many people and looked confused.

“I don't think so. You wait here, brother will help that driver.”

After seeing the little boy exclaim, Ghita walked to the driver who looked confused to answer the various allegations.

“Master and mistress, this is not what it looks like.”

“FORGIVE US.”

Ghita spoke loudly enough to bend down to make – people turn their attention to him when the driver tried to give an explanation.

'Hold for a moment' Ghita closed her eyes as she felt her head spin as she leaned over.

“Nona, why are you apologizing. Wasn't he going to hit you and my son earlier. Lucky you saved my son, otherwise I don't know what's going to happen to him.”

A woman who turned out to be the mother of the little boy replied as she walked towards her son.

“No. He's innocent. I am the guilty one.”

“How are you guilty if you saved my son.” The child's mother hugged her son tightly for fear that something might happen to her.

“Ehm..”.

Ghita was confused to answer that question. But he also did not want to get the good driver in trouble. Moreover, when the driver looked at him expectantly, Ghita was eager to help him escape this problem.

“Why are you at fault if this guy is going to hit you.”

A young man spoke in anger while holding the driver's shirt ready to hit him.

“DIA MY LOVER.” Ghita said after seeing the driver was still hoping for him.

“He's your lover?”

“True, He's my lover, and we're having a fight.”

Ghita tried to calm down when the word – was thrown out of his mouth.

With doubt Ghita walked towards the driver who must have thought he was crazy.

“You are sure of what you said miss?”

“True, we both had a fight and I just left when it rained earlier. Therefore, Brother Gilang searched for me until he sped like before, and accidentally almost hit us.”

Ghita hoped that his explanation would be acceptable even if it sounded absurd, because that was all he had in his brain right now. He even called the driver by his brother's name, hoping that he would come to his aid now.

“Really? You're not trying to lie to us to protect this guy, are you?”

“Sure sa...”

“You're okay – what? Jeez your body is hot.”

The driver swiftly caught Ghita's body that would be unsteady because it was not strong enough to hold his body again which began to feel heavy.

“I'm good – is good..”

“This is why I'm looking for you. Already know you've just healed, but instead just leave when it rains. Didn't I tell you I was late because I was stuck, but you accused me of cheating.”

“What? Yes! What are you doing.” Ghita was surprised when the driver arrived – arrived carrying him.

“Be quiet.” said the driver was full of emphasis.

Ghita tried to calm down after being surprised when the driver arrived – arrived carrying him after seeing the code from the driver told him to be quiet.

“Force us. I should have been a good lover to her and not caused this kind of mess because of our quarrel. I beg you, forgive us.”

By holding Ghita like a princess in his lap, the driver nodded his head many times – times because he could not bend while supporting Ghita's body.

“Basic of young people. Because trivial things can get into a fight like that. What if you're married. Are you guys gonna fight all day?”

“You too, miss, you shouldn't be prejudiced by her. Don't leave before you hear the explanation. Bother people only”

“Force us. We won't do it again, fight in the streets.” Say that driver.

“True, once again forgive us.”

Ghita lowered his head weakly in the driver's arms as – people nagged him and the driver thought they were childish.

Just as Ghita was about to raise his head again, his body grew weaker and he could no longer bear it. Ghita could hear the driver calling her and her embrace was also tightening.
