Dew was surprised, seeing who entered the same room as him. Same with the man. He was pecking at his place, with a sliding door.
"Come on Vin, why are you just staring there?"
###
The main building of the towering CRD CORP, in a special room CEO upstairs.
That morning Malvin received a message from Grandpa Hana, asking for lunch together. Malvin stared at his old phone screen and placed it on his office desk. Malvin took a long breath. He still has an appointment with the grandfather to find and bring his grandson together.
Seeing how Dew's reaction yesterday made Malvin hesitant and reluctant, wrong-even he who hates the woman. Now that Malvin is restless enough, Dew repeatedly mentions Hana, attributing her resemblance to Hana. His love even kept doubting his wife.
"Of course, just lunch. What do I need to confuse?" murmured Malvin again tried to focus on his work.
Before long Kenan came with a stack of files in his hand. Malvin looked at her with an uneasy feeling.
"What's this?" he said suspiciously staring at the pile of files that Kennan put on his desk.
"Just work is delayed sir." said Kenan with a sweet smile on his face.
"You kidding? this much?" malvin protest.
"You can start it sir." again with the same smile.
Malvin pinched his head, and leaned against his chair.
"I'm sorry sir."
"Ken, this afternoon Bram's grandfather invited lunch."
"Okay sir, I'll clear your schedule after lunch"
"Thank you Ken. Can you come with me?"tanya Mavin offered.
"Is that not a problem?"Kennan asked back.
"Heemm. I want to avoid my grandfather taking too long" Malvin reasoned.
"Have you not met Miss Dewun with Mr Bram?"
"Not yet."
"It's not good sir, what else if Mr. Bram knows first" said Kenan
"I know." replied Malvin glaring far away."You can go."
Ken leaned over half his body and walked out of Malvin's room.
Wakktu passed quickly, a few hours before lunch time, hp Malvin rang. Malvin who was busy with the file sheet on his desk glanced at his phone. Dew calling, Malvin's thump pressing the green button.
"Whats up Baby?"
("Can you accompany me to lunch?") the sound of the Dew across there.
Malvin looked at the clock in his hand.
"Im sorry honey, I already have a lunch appointment." Malvin said in a sad tone.
("Mmmm. Its alright. Good job.")
"Hey wait's. How about dinner together?"bargain Malvin
("Mmmm, take Catty and Kayla too.") Dew said across the street.
"That's not the name of both dear, but four."
("You mind?")ask Dew in a naughty tone. Makes Malvin smile.
"No. Where do you want to have dinner?"
("I'll ask the kids. They might have a choice.")
"Okey honey.I'm sorry to disappoint you this afternoon" said Malvin again, he felt bad to refuse the Dew invitation, but he had made an appointment to lunch with Hana's grandfather.
("What's wrong, you'll replace it with dinner.it's the same.")
"I love you." closed Malvin ended with a kiss on his phone
("I love you.") Dew reply from behind the speaker.
Call ended. Malvin is back to completing his task. As soon as his job broke, Malvin peeked at the clock in his hand. Fifteen minutes before lunch. Malvin's gasps out of his room, Kennan picked up in front of the elevator.
They walked out of the CRD Corp building and drove in a red car to a famous Korean restaurant in the city. Malvin took wide strides, he was two minutes late from the promised time.
"May the old man not complain." murmured Malvin. Next to him was Kennan.
"Sorry sir, there's something I have to finish first." said Kennan pointing at his phone.
"What's? Now then? We're having lunch." Malvin's protest furrowed his eyebrows.
"Sorry."sorry Kennan."I'll try to get back soon."
Malvin jerks his breath."All right, go."
Malvin again began his steps, following the servant who led his way. Malvin in front of a private room. The waiter knocked on the door, though,
"Sir, your guest has come." said the waiter.
"Please let him in!" the heavy voice of an old man from inside.
The door slid, Malvin walked into the room. How surprised he was, besides Grandpa Hana, there was also a Dew. The woman was no less surprised to see him, in contrast to Grandpa Bram, she smiled with satisfaction as if looking forward to this moment.
"Come on Vin, why are you staring there?" grandpa Bram's heavy voice rebuked Malvin who was still standing on the doorstep.
Malvin looked at the Dew's face, who had chosen to take his eyes off. Malvin was sitting in front of Grandpa Bram, they were just on the table.
"Eat." Grandpa Bram took his first bribe.
Malvin was attached to the Dew, he did not expect to be met in this situation. Malvin lamented Grandpa's actions only to be in a hurry.
"What is this cake?" Malvin turned to look at Bram's grandfather asking for an explanation, Malvin narrowed his eyes.
"We're having lunch. Eat." said Grandpa casually,
"Grandfather." said Malvin still staring at Grandpa Bram Seriously.
Grandpa Bram put down the coarse chopsticks and his dips kicked across the table. The dust jumped in shock.
"Vin, I'm the one who's supposed to ask, what's up?" furious Grandpa Bram. Looked at Malvin. He was angry because Malvin even seemed to have no intention of meeting him with his lost grandson.
"you found her, even married her. How dare you not meet us soon!" Grandpa Bram's flaming touch.
"Is this how you thank me?" Cynical Grandpa Bram stared coldly at Malvin.
"Grandfather, there's something you don't understand. You should be more patient."Malvin's still trying to calm down."You should have trusted me more."
The dew stared softly at Malvin. All this time he felt Malvin was hiding something from him, and it seemed like he was starting to understand. There are too many lies he doesn't know.
BRRAAAKKK!
"Propay you say? I'm almost dead and you're telling me to be patient to see my granddaughter?" jolt Grandpa again with an overflow of emotions.
Malvin clenched his hand under the table. He closed his eyes restraining his ego to say a word that might hurt Dew. Malvin looked back at Grandpa.
"You've let me down with Hana's death, you're adding to my disappointment with this?" grandpa Bram again."I have the right to meet my granddaughter!"
The smiling dew was fed up with all this. A very annoying drama. Dew stands, dew stands,
"I've had enough" he said walking to the sliding door.
"Grow please!"
"My granddaughter, we.."
"I also have the right not to hear this kind of nonsense" Dew said turning his head slightly. He opened the sliding door."At least no one's considering how I feel."
"Dear, we have to talk." Malvin is moving
"None of you I want. Let me alone." Dew came out of the room.
"Grow" said grandfather and Malvin together.
The two men of different generations looked at each other.
"This is the reason I didn't bring you cake right away, he couldn't accept the people who threw it away" Malvin said before leaving Grandpa Hana.
