Trying to Remember

Mr. Sam clutched Amira's hand tightly as if he didn't want to lose Amira again. And though Amira had not yet recognized Sam's master, she did not reject Sam's treatment of him.

"Are you really Db?" ask Amira.

Sam nodded his head and kissed Amira on the back.

"You know that name you gave it to me Meyaa." said Mr. Sam.

"really? why would I give you a name like that?" ask Amira.

"Because it is short for Dilbar, which means lover.

"Then what is your real name?"

"Sam... Samudra.that's my name"

"Then Meyaa..."

"Meyaa that's the name I gave you, because you called me Db.." said Mr. Sam.

"A short for Mere Yaara which means my lover." continued Mr. Sam.

"Then my real name?"

"Amira.it's your name" said Mr. Sam.

"Are we married?" ask Amira who is actually worried about her status because she is now pregnant.

"Yes.we are married.we even have two sons." replied Mr. Sam with a smile.

"really?" asked Amira did not expect if her pregnancy this time was the pregnancy of her third child candidate.

"Yes.we've had two twins before." explained Mr. Sam as he reached into his pants pocket to retrieve his phone.

The gallery opens on her mobile phone and shows her photos of her marriage to Amira first. Looking at the photos shown by Mr. Sam makes the corner of Amira's eyes pool. How could he forget so many memories with his little family. Especially the two handsome boys who had the same face. Also the man who is now in front of her is her husband.

"My parents?"

"They were dead when you just graduated from SMU, so I didn't get to know them." explained Mr. Sam.

Amira lowered her head restraining the turmoil in her chest. His brain immediately tried to open the memory that is now forgotten to make Amira's head felt very sick. Amira also held her head which hurt.

"Aaarrrgghh.." he cried while enduring pain.

"You why Meyaa?" sams asked frantically when she saw Amira holding her head while grimacing in pain.

Luke who had only noticed the two from the door of the room immediately called the doctor who treated Amira. Soon doctors and nurses came to help Amira. After getting a sedative injection, Amira fell asleep.

"What happened to my wife Doc? why is he suddenly like this?" ask Mr. Sam after the doctor has finished treating Amira.

"It looks like your wife is forcing herself to remember her past so that it makes her head hurt, so I hope that you can keep her from forcing herself too much to remember her past... let everything flow as it is now your wife is pregnant" explained the doctor.

Sam's master rubbed his face violently. He did not expect the problem to become more complicated.

"Can I take my wife home from the doctor? maybe that way he can remember everything without feeling depressed." asked Mr. Sam.

"Maybe tomorrow we can just let him go home, sir.so tonight he was treated here first." said the doctor.

"All right, doctor, thank you." said Mr. Sam.

Then the doctor decided to go back to his room.

"Luke.. You better go back to the hotel now and accompany the children with Lusi. Let me be here with my wife" said Mr. Sam when the doctor had left the Amira treatment room.

"Okay, sir." said Luke and he immediately went out of there to return to the hotel.

While Mr. Sam was still faithfully sitting next to Amira's gurney holding his wife's hand. Luke who had arrived at the hotel room of Mr. Sam immediately found Lusi who was sleeping Samir and Sahir.

"Have they both slept?" luke asked quietly but was still heard by Luci.

"Just now." said Lusi also slowly while nodding his head.

After waiting for a while to convince if the two boys had really slept both then moved to sit on the sofa so as not to disturb the two boys sleeping.

"How's it?" asked Lusi who was impatient when the two were already sitting on the sofa.

"Thank God it was true that Madame Amira was there and she was fine.

"Thank God." said Lusi who could not hide his happiness.

"But the madam is now losing her memory though not permanently." added Lukas.

"What's? miss Amira lost her memory? but how can it be?" asked Lusi who was surprised by Luke's narration.

"Then what about that woman? Kartika... don't you suspect it?"

"You mean?" luke did not understand.

"Yes... do you not suspect that the woman may have lied to you?"

"I suspect Lus, too, but I haven't had time to investigate it further because I'm focused on finding Amira's whereabouts." said Lukas.

"But now you can investigate, right? mistress Amira has been found and she survived despite amnesia" Lusi's feline who does not want her lover to make mistakes because he has long suspected the woman named Kartika.

"You're right. I must immediately ascertain the real reason the woman lied to us when she told me why she got the ring... because I met one of the people who found the two for the first time and said if the position of the two is close together and still in one room" said Luke.

Lukas then explained all his suspicions and Lusi to Kartika because when he asked one of the rescue team members who helped Amira when she met at the hospital he got the fact that the position Amira and Kartika are close together and not in the staircase but in the room of an empty apartment left by its residents to save themselves when the bombing occurred. That means if the woman was deliberately lying and covering up Amira's state.

"Basic j*l**g! how dare he lie and steal my wife's ring!" said Mr. Sam growled.

If Luke had not immediately reminded him not to act rashly in order to find out Kartika's motive for lying then right now he would have come to the woman and immediately made calculations with her.

"You investigate well Lukas.I'm counting on you. And don't forget tomorrow I want the tour to see the house... you just bring Samir and Sahir here to come and pick up my wife after that we'll see the house together." said Mr. Sam.

Luke obeys his master's orders and Sam closes his phone. He saw Amira's face that looked peaceful while asleep.

"I'm sorry Meyaa.. I'm too busy that I'm negligent in looking after you." said Mr. Sam softly as he kissed Amira's palm.

Before long the man also returned to sleep beside Amira in a sitting position with his head leaning against Amira's bank. And his hands did not come off holding Amira's hand. Only this time he was able to fall asleep even in an uncomfortable position after days he could not sleep and could only close his eyes for a moment when Amira had not been found.

Late at midnight Amira woke up thirsty and was surprised to see Mr. Sam asleep in a sitting position with his head bowed beside him. Instantly there was a sense of pity and guilt in the man because he did not remember it yet.

"I'm sorry I can't remember you and our little family yet" Amira said.

He also dared himself to touch the tip of Sam's hair and stroked him slowly. It was then that he felt his heart rustle as if his body remembered having done that before.

"Did I do this to you a lot?" muttered Amira still faithfully rubbing slowly the top of the head of master Sam.

"Why does my heart feel comfortable being around him? is this what inner bonding says? if it is true I beg Allah.open my memory to him.really when I look at his face only I feel happy" inner Amira.

Without Amira knowing if his actions make master Sam wake up. But the man refused to open his eyes because he did not want Amira to stop his activities. Amira's touch to her is a cure for her restlessness after several days of frustration searching for Amira's whereabouts. After being satisfied stroking the head of her husband Amira was shifted to take a drink glass that was on the nightstand. His movement immediately made Mr. Sam look up to find out what his wife wanted to do.

"What do you want?" ask Mr. Sam.

"Emm.. I'm thirsty." said Amira slowly.

"All right I'll get you." said Mr. Sam who immediately brought a drink for Amira.

After drinking the water taken by Mr. Sam, Amira thanked her husband. When Mr. Sam was about to return to lay his head on Amira's gurney forbade him.

"Don't sleep like that. Here.. lie down here!" amira said as she shifted her body and patted the empty side next to her.

Mr. Sam looked at Amira in disbelief if his wife told him to lie down next to her.

"Why? aren't we husband and wife?" asked Amira who looked at Mr. Sam who was just speechless.

"I.iya.." said Mr. Sam stammered.

"But don't you mind?" ask Mr. Sam doubtfully.

"Of course not. because you're my husband even though I don't remember you yet.but honestly my heart is comfortable near you.It may also be the baby in my womb..." amira said with a blushing face as she expressed the feelings of her heart.

Mr. Sam smiled happily. Although Amira has not remembered it and all the memories of the two of them are at least as Amira said that her heart and body can still remember it. Mr. Sam went straight up to Amira's gurney and immediately lay down beside the woman. Unexpectedly Amira immediately sucked her head in the chest of master Sam and immediately fell asleep.
